ASTROGLIDE Previous Privacy Policy

BioFilm, Inc., a California Corporation (“BioFilm” or “we” or “us”) respects the privacy of its users and recognizes the importance of protecting the personal information you provide to us over the Internet. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on our web site, www.Astroglide.com (the “Web Site”) and how we use your information. This Privacy Policy only covers information collected at this Web Site, and does not cover any information collected by any other web site or offline by BioFilm (unless specifically stated), its affiliates or any other company. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. In addition, please review our Terms of Use, which governs your use of this Web site.

Information BioFilm, Inc. Collects
Generally, you may browse our Web Site without providing any personal information about yourself, which is information that could reasonably be used to identify you personally (such as your name, address, age or email address), which we refer to as “PII.” However, we may ask you to provide us with certain PII when you register with us or at other times, such as if you request a free sample. We may also ask you to provide us with demographic information or information regarding your interests, hobbies or similar information. Providing us with information about yourself is completely voluntary, and you can always choose not to provide certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of or participate in some of the Web Site’s features.

We may also receive information about you from third parties. For example, a co-promoter or sponsor may provide us with certain information, including PII, about users that choose to participate in a promotional opportunity the co-promoter or sponsor is offering in connection with BioFilm.

In addition, when you visit this Web Site, our web servers automatically collect web site usage information. Web Site usage information is anonymous, aggregate information that describes how our visitors use and navigate our Web Site, and it includes the number and frequency of visitors to each web page and the length of their stays. We also collect the anonymous information automatically sent to us by your web browser, such as browser type, referrer data that identifies the web page visited prior and subsequent to visiting our Web Site, and IP addresses (see below for more information on IP addresses). We also may determine the technology available through your browser in order to serve you the most appropriate version of a web page.

BioFilm Does Not Knowingly Collect Information From Children Under Eighteen (18) Years Of Age.

This is not a web site directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18) and BioFilm, Inc. does not knowingly collect any PII from children under eighteen (18) years of age. If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, do not send any information about yourself to BioFilm or request a product sample. If BioFilm discovers that a child under the age of eighteen (18) has provided BioFilm with PII, BioFilm will delete that child’s PII from its system.

BioFilm encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to supervise their children’s activities on the World Wide Web. BioFilm suggests that parents consider using parental control tools available from online services and software manufacturers that may help ensure a child friendly online environment and help direct their children to suitable, child-oriented web sites.

Use Of IP Addresses
This site uses Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP Address is a number assigned to your computer by your Internet service provider so you can access the Internet and is generally considered to be non-personally identifiable information, because in most cases an IP address is dynamic (changing each time you connect to the Internet), rather than static (unique to a particular user’s computer). We use your IP address to diagnose problems with our server, report aggregate information, determine the fastest route for your computer to use in connecting to our site, and administer and improve the site.

Cookies
Like most web sites, this Web Site may sometimes make use of browser cookies. A “cookie” is a bit of information that a Web site sends to your Web browser that helps the site remember information about you and your preferences.

“Session” cookies are temporary bits of information that are erased once you exit your Web browser window or otherwise turn your computer off. Session cookies are used to improve navigation on Web sites and to collect aggregate statistical information. This site primarily utilizes session cookies. BioFilm does not save PII in cookies. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you decline to accept BioFilm cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of or participate in certain features of this Web Site. BioFilm’s Use and Disclosure of Collected Information BioFilm may use PII to provide you with the information or content you have requested, to contact you about our programs, products, features or services, or for other purposes disclosed at the time of collection. For instance, we may send you an e-mail newsletter, notify you that you have won a sweepstakes or contest or send you your requested sample. We may also contact you regarding any problems or questions we have relating to your use of our Web Site, or, in our discretion, to notify you of changes to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use or other policy or terms that affect you and your use of our Web Site. We may also use information about our users, including PII, for internal purposes. In addition, except as otherwise stated, we may use your information to improve the content of our site, for our marketing and research purposes, and for the purposes specified in the Privacy Policy. If you provide personally identifiable information to the site, we may combine such information with other actively collected information unless we specify otherwise at the point of collection. We will take reasonable measures to prevent personally identifiable information from being combined with passively collected information, unless you consent otherwise. BioFilm may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on its behalf. Examples include, without limitation, hosting this Web Site, sending communications on our behalf, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, creating, hosting and/or running contests/sweepstakes/games and providing customer service. These third parties may have access to this Web Site’s user information, including PII, but only to the extent it is needed to perform their duties and functions. BioFilm may disclose information about its users, including PII, when legally required to do so, at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation, or to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing our Web Site and applicable laws. BioFilm may also disclose such user information whenever we believe disclosure is necessary to limit our legal liability or to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interfering with our rights or property or the rights or property of anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. In addition, BioFilm may disclose user information, including PII, in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, the sale of substantially all its assets, or other fundamental corporate change. BioFilm may disclose anonymous, aggregated user statistics for a variety of purposes, including describing services to prospective partners and other third parties. Other than as disclosed in this Privacy Policy, we will not contact you with marketing material or share your PII with outside parties unless such use or disclosure is clearly identified at the time you provide your PII or we provide you the opportunity to consent or prohibit such use or disclosure.

Your Choices
It is possible for you to use much of our site without giving us any personally identifiable information. When you register with us or give us personally identifiable information, you will have an opportunity at the time we collect your information – to limit e-mail communications from BioFilm and from our third-party partners. You can request at any time that BioFilm not send future e-mail to you either by unsubscribing from the communication or by contacting us at customer.service@Astroglide.com. It may take us up to fourteen (14) business days to process your changes, but we will do so as quickly as we can.

You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our databases. In addition, your ability to opt out from receiving marketing and promotional material does not change our right to contact you regarding your use of our Web Site or changes to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use or other policy or terms that affect you and your use of our Web Site. We take reasonable steps to protect your personally identifiable information as you transmit your information from your computer to our site and to protect such information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. You should keep in mind that no Internet transmission is ever 100% secure or error-free. In particular, e-mail sent to or from this site may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail. Moreover, where you use passwords, ID numbers, or other special access features on this site, it is your responsibility to safeguard them. Also, remember to sign out of your account and close your browser window when you finish surfing the Web, so that other people using the same computer won’t have access to your information.

Access and Correction
To keep your personally identifiable information accurate, current, and complete, please contact us as specified below. We will take all reasonable steps to update or correct personally identifiable information in our possession that you have previously submitted via this site.

Links
Please be aware that when you are on our Web Site you could be directed to other web sites and/or online materials through links to other Web pages that take you outside BioFilm’s service and are beyond BioFilm’s control. For example, you may encounter links from sponsors or partners, which may include BioFilm’s logo as part of a co-branding agreement. If you “click” on the link to such a third party, the “click” takes you off our Web Site. These other web sites may set their own cookies, collect date, solicit PII and/or have their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy only covers information collected at this Web Site, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any other web site you visit.

Consent To Transfer
This Web Site is operated in the United States. If you are located in the European Union or elsewhere outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States. By using our Web Site, participating in any of our services and/or providing us with your information, you consent to this transfer.

Acceptance
By using this Web Site, you accept the policies set forth in this Privacy Policy. BioFilm reserves the right to modify, alter or otherwise update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post any changes here, so be sure to check back from time to time. However, be assured that we only use the PII you submit to this Web Site in a manner consistent with the Privacy Policy in effect at the time you submit your PII, unless you give us your consent.
